Digestive Chai Tea
Ingredients:
1 1/2 teaspoons loose tea
1/4 teaspoon fresh grated ginger or 1/8 teaspoon ginger powder
3-4 black peppers
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup 2% milk
sugar, to taste
Preparation:
Mix tea leaves, ginger, peppers, and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to a simmer and let tea and spices steep for 4 minutes.
Add milk and sugar and bring to boil.
Strain chai in cups and serve.
